Household Hint

Club soda is the best emergency spotter there is for carpet and clothing, even on old stains. It will remove red wine, coffee, tea, soda and more. Lift any solids carefully off carpet or clothes and then pour on the club soda, blotting with an old rag until all the color from the spill is removed.

Time Management

Get control of your telephone time. The same telephone that connects you to the world, also disrupts your family by:

disturbing your mealtimes,
interrupting bath time,
making it easy to waste time in idle conversation, and
giving you a busy signal or keeping you on "hold" when you are in a hurry.

Rainy Day Activity

INDOOR PLAYHOUSE OR FORT

Use a large carton or an old sheet draped over a card table, (it should reach the floor). You can use a marking pen to put in windows and doors, and cut them out so they open and close. Your child’s imagination will do the rest! This playhouse can be folded away and used over and over again
